Warranty Terms

1. Overview

All PROTEC Recovery products come with a manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights.

2. Warranty Coverage by Product

  • PROBOOTS 2 (Compression Boots): 1 year, covering compressor and controls
  • CryoLink H (Horizontal Cold Plunge): 3 years structure, 2 years chiller
  • CryoLink V (Vertical Cold Plunge): 3 years structure, 2 years chiller
  • AtmosChamber (all models): 2 years, covering chamber and compressor
  • Kelvin (Cryotherapy Chamber): 1 year on the whole machine, 3 years on core components
  • LumaBed (Red Light Bed): 5 years on the machine, lifetime LED warranty

3. What's Covered

3.1 Included in Warranty

  • Defects in materials
  • Defects in workmanship
  • Manufacturing faults
  • Electronic/electrical failures (not due to misuse)
  • Structural defects

3.2 NOT Included in Warranty

  • Normal wear and tear (fabric wear, surface scratches)
  • Accidental damage (drops, impacts, spills)
  • Misuse or failure to follow product instructions
  • Unauthorised repairs, modifications, or disassembly
  • Commercial use under a residential warranty
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect function
  • Consumables (filters, straps, covers)
  • Acts of nature (flooding, lightning, fire)

4. Warranty by Region

4.1 United Kingdom

Full warranty as stated above. We cover return shipping and replacement shipping for all valid warranty claims.

4.2 European Union

Minimum 2-year legal guarantee under EU consumer law. Our warranty runs concurrently. We provide a return label or reimburse return shipping. Replacement shipping covered.

5. Extended Warranty (Optional)

A 1-Year Extended Warranty is available for £19, adding one year to the standard warranty on eligible products. It can be purchased at checkout or within 30 days of purchase. Proof of purchase required. For AtmosChamber, Kelvin, and LumaBed, contact us for extended warranty options.

6. Commercial Warranty

For commercial use (gyms, spas, clinics, etc.), all products are covered by a 1-year warranty covering parts and labour, regardless of product price. Contact us for commercial warranty options and extended coverage.

7. How to Make a Warranty Claim

Step 1: Gather information. Before contacting us, please have your order number or proof of purchase, product serial number (if applicable), photos/videos of the issue, and a description of the problem.

Step 2: Contact us. Email support@protecrecovery.com with the subject line "Warranty Claim - [Product Name] - Order #[Number]" and include all information from Step 1.

Step 3: Troubleshooting. Our team may ask diagnostic questions, request additional photos/videos, provide troubleshooting steps, or offer remote support.

Step 4: Resolution. If the issue is covered under warranty, we will repair the product, send replacement parts, provide a full replacement, or issue a refund, at our discretion.

Step 5: Shipping. We provide a return label for UK/EU customers. Ship in original packaging if possible. Replacements are shipped within 3–5 business days of claim approval with tracking provided.

8. Warranty Claim Timeframes

  • Initial response: within 2 business days
  • Troubleshooting: 1–5 business days
  • Claim decision: within 5 business days of receiving product
  • Replacement shipping: 3–5 business days

9. Proof of Purchase

Valid proof of purchase includes order confirmation email, invoice, or bank/credit card statement showing the purchase. We maintain purchase records: if you've lost your proof, we can look up orders by email address.

10. Warranty Transfer

Warranty is transferable to new owners for gifts. Original proof of purchase is required. Contact us to register the new owner.

11. Out-of-Warranty Service

For products outside the warranty period, please contact us at support@protecrecovery.com to discuss available options. Spare parts may be available at cost plus shipping where stock allows.

12. Your Statutory Rights

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under:

  • UK: Consumer Rights Act 2015: 30-day right to reject faulty goods, right to repair or replacement, and additional protections
  • EU: Consumer Sales Directive: 2-year guarantee on goods

13. Limitations

  • This warranty is valid only for products purchased from PROTEC Recovery or authorised retailers
  • Products purchased from unauthorised sellers may not be covered
  • Warranty void if serial number is removed or altered
