No. Kelvin is a commercial recovery and wellness device and carries commercial CE marking. It is not a medical device, and we do not make medical claims for it.

Because the cold is made electrically, the only running input is power. There is no liquid nitrogen or gas to reorder. The exact draw depends on the model, the size, and how often it runs, and we confirm it in writing before order.

The main refrigeration unit sits in a separate room, 3 to 5 m from the cabin, air-cooled or water-cooled. It runs on a dedicated 400 V three-phase supply, and the cabin itself on 220 V. We survey the site and plan the layout with you before we build.

Each chamber is made to order and shipped disassembled in panels. Our engineer assembles and commissions it on site and hands it over running. Delivery and commissioning are arranged when we quote.

From a room-temperature start the Kelvin 130 reaches its set point in about 60 minutes. After that it holds, so 2 to 3 minute sessions run back to back through the day. Each time the door opens the temperature rises 8 to 10°C, then recovers.

One year on the whole machine and three years on the core refrigeration components. We support remotely with guidance and replacement parts, and send an engineer on site if one is needed.
